Katy has collaborated with organisations such as Scottish Ballet, The Australian Ballet, the City of Maribyrnong Council, the University of Melbourne, YDance, the Royal Scottish Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Queen Margaret University, Fife College, the Royal Academy of Dance, Scottish Arts Council, Creative Scotland, Ausdance SA and Victoria and Chunky Moves as well as many First Nations communities. She has sat on various boards and committees internationally. Her expertise lies in the intersection of arts, education, project management and policy, business, reconciliation, and research, allowing her to craft customised solutions that align with communities', organisations', and places' unique needs and goals.
Katy's qualifications include a Doctorate from the University of Melbourne (currently in the final year of completion), a Master of Teaching, a postgraduate certificate in Dance Education and Science, and a BA Hons from Trinity Laban Conservatoire. In 2020 she founded Ngargee Youth Dance with Aunty Carolyn Briggs, a dance group for First Nations dancers to tell their stories.
